This position can only be applied on Ericsson's web page.Please visit http://www.ericsson.com/careers.Arbetsuppgifter The purpose of this job is to ensure optimal implementation and support of RBS hardware and software solutions as well as test software functionality and quality.The solution verification engineer works with verification of RBS hardware together with the design responsible and they run and test RBS software in order to detect incompatibilities before they ar released.They also investigate and solve problems related to prototype test program related.The solution verification engineer is expected to educate other groups of engineers within test and product areas to ensure competence in the organization and at other sites.The solution verification engineer is also expected to travel abroad when so is required and you will work with several nationalities both in person and at distance.Utbildning/erfarenhet We are looking for you that have a university degree in engineering and/or several years of experience as verification engineer or similar line of work.You have very good knowledge of PC-software, electronics and measurement methodology as well as RF, programming (C++/C#) and data com.It is also preferable if you have good knowledge of Ericsson technical IS/IT and engineering environment.You should also have telecommunication knowledge or experience.You are comfortable with both reading and speaking technical English and Swedish.Since you will be working with engineers from different parts of the world it is important that you have good understanding and accepting cultural differences.Företagsbeskrivning Ericsson is the world's leading provider of technology and services to telecom operators.The company's portfolio comprises mobile and fixed network infrastructure, telecom services, software, broadband and multimedia solutions for operators, enterprises and the media industry.
