Solutions Manager

We are now looking for a Solutions Manager for Autonomous Tank Monitoring and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications utilizing radar technology.
This role will be working closely with customers, sales, world area marketing and industry experts to define and deploy our subscription based IIoT solutions across industries. You will have close collaboration with internal functions such as product management, engineering, integrated marketing as well as with external partners. This means that you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships on many different levels and cultures.
The position has a high business focus and requires both strategic thinking as well as a high drive for results. In this role you analyze the business environment and set your own objectives and strategies for how to reach success and adjust them to rapidly changing priorities. As you will be the subject matter expert and work to influence both the internal as well as industry organizations, we believe you have excellent technical knowledge.

Responsibilities
This role will lead the Autonomous Tank Monitoring / IIoT Solutions initiative. You will identify, prioritize, and develop opportunities within this field and collaborate within Emerson as well as with external partners to develop and launch an off-premises solution.
For the initiative you will drive implementation of SaaS / subscription-based business models build and you will also lead customer interaction during development phase from proof of concept to launch
You will also work within Emerson to develop and launch an aligned on-premises solution in Emerson’s Plantweb Digital Ecosystem. Another part is to support and align World Area Marketing activities and lead/influence integrated marketing to develop appropriate sales, marketing and training techniques and material.
As the Voice of the Customer (VoC) you will communicate solution & application specific needs into product management and collaborate with external partners when needed for business development.
This role will be a subject matter expert of our Autonomous Tank Monitoring solutions to customers as well as the internal organization
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you are passionate about new technology and quality decisions, have a strong inner drive for results and are able to combine technology with customer needs.
We believe you have a degree in engineering or business with several years of experience in product/solutions management within business-to-business (B2B).
We believe that you have experience of SaaS / subscription-based business models and if you have demonstrated knowledge of Level measurement and applications it's a plus. Another plus is also experience from logistics industry and UX design/Human Centered Design.
As we work in an international environment you need to be fluent in both verbal and written English, Swedish is a plus.

The position is preferably situated at our office in Mölnlycke. Travel and numerous customer visits required.
