Trucks Solutions Planning as a team has the global responsibility to drive the direction of Scania’s development to optimize our customers’ and Scania’s profitability, and make us the leader in sustainable transport solutions. We are the voice of our customers and sales force when Scania makes development decisions.
We are in principle acting in translating Scania’s corporate strategies and sales strategies into solution strategies that ensure that we are competitive also in years to come. We have a cross-functional working place cooperating with internal Scania departments, the global Scania distributor network as well as within the Traton group.
What you will do
As Solutions Planning Manager, you own the consolidated Solution roadmap for the complete Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Goods Transport business explaining what product and services we are developing and what improvements are necessary to develop and launch in order for Scania to reach our corporate targets. You are also an important contributor to analysing the financial consequences of the current roadmap.
To help guide the ICE Goods Transport Business Value Table (BVT) to make the right priorities you will also coordinate setting the right ambition level target for the complete set of Business Values for ICE Goods Transport.
You work in close cooperation with the Product Planning Managers within the team as well as Product Managers within the department and our Business Units to gather input of ongoing projects and new demands. In the Business Values work you will work with a wide network both within S&M as well as R&D.
Who you are
To be successful in this position you probably have previous experience from product planning, product management, the commercial system or product development within R&D. You have an interest in Scania’s products and services and a holistic approach to be able to see the bigger picture.
You have excellent analytical skills as well as the ability to create great presentation and communication material. Furthermore we are looking for someone who is strong in communication, builds wide contact networks and takes natural ownership of assignments. High level of English verbally and in writing is a requirement.
