Trucks Product Planning as a team has the global responsibility to guide the direction of Scania’s development of our customer offerings, to optimize our customers’ and Scania’s profitability, and make us the leader in sustainable transport solutions. We are the voice of our customers and sales force when Scania makes product and services development decisions. About the role
As a part of Scania’s ambition to be a solution provider we now take an important step. To ensure that we maximize the profitability of both Scania and our customers we are now forming a new role with the holistic responsibility of making sure we develop the right services for our customers at the right time and in the right combination with product launches. This will strengthen our position as the premium brand when it comes to digitalization and connectivity of our products.
As our new Solutions Planning Manager you will be responsible for forming our future service portfolio connected to our products. Together with our distributor network and services sales department you will map the service demands of our customers and drive the development in the right direction together with R&D and the Service Portfolio department within S&M. The result of this will be a roadmap of all desired services introduction and improvements, including those already in development. Once projects are started it is your task to make sure the customer demands are fulfilled and the introduction timing is kept.
Responsibilities
• Identify, analyze and understand the global potential of customer demands when it comes to services
• Set a long term services strategy and services demand roadmap
• Together with R&D and the Services Portfolio department within S&M, initiate development project solving the most important demands
• Continuously work together with R&D and the Services Portfolio department to ensure that the running projects are delivering on track when it comes to solving our customer demands at the right timing
• Represent KT/Trucks in all related development projects and forums
• As this role is newly formed, an important task over the first year is to detail the relationships, interfaces and split of responsibility with partners both at S&M and R&D
Who you are
To be successful in this position, you need to be a dedicated team player, service minded and have a clear drive. We are looking for someone who is strong in communication, who can create structure to everyone around and make clear analyses and conclusions. You can both draw your own conclusions and lead teams to draw collective conclusions. On a personal level you strive to build wide contact networks with long term relationships through good collaboration, communication, structure and trust. A great passion for the success of Scania’s customers is a plus!
You most likely have a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Management or equivalent. You are probably 5-10 years into your career and are looking for your next big challenge.
