Sony - Creative Communications Manager

SONY is looking for a Creative Communications Manager in Lund, Sweden

A good year before our products hit the stores around the world, our customers – the major global operators – take the decisions if and what they will buy from us. Our Sales & Marketing and customer accounts go around the world to persuade the customers that Sony has just the right portfolio of products for them. And to their help they bring fantastic marketing materials (videos, images & presentations) all produced by the Product Communications team.

This opportunity is with the Product Communications team, which is a part of the Product Marketing Communication team, in Global Marketing and the successful candidate will be involved in the creation and development of our global product and portfolio sell-in assets.

List of responsibilities:
· Create visualizations and communication materials for our future portfolio and products. "Define the story" for upcoming products and portfolio, together with the project manager and key stakeholders such as the Product Planner, the Product Manager, the Product Marketing Manager, et al.)
· Produce visualizations (images, slides, animations, screens, printouts etc) needed to make the sell-in kit complete and outstanding
· Build a network for continuous improvement. An important part of the job is to maintain a continuous dialogue with key stakeholders and users of the communication materials produced. By creating an understanding for how the materials are used and how well it works, we are driving optimization and improvements to our deliverables with an innovative mind.
· "Maintenance". The job also includes tasks of more "maintenance character"; All materials are confidential, hence every product image needs to get a "watermark" protection, all materials will be uploaded to secure locations for distribution to its receivers etc Although not the main assignment for the role, it´s important that everyone in the team has the knowhow for how to carry out these vital tasks.

Functional competences:
· Must have professional skills with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop mainly) and MS Power Point
· An innovative mind and a creative eye is definitely an asset that is needed.
· Experience working in a product-focused company in a role delivering value to both internal and external customers. Ability to prioritize to maximize business value.
· Strong collaboration skills to ensure team work within and between teams/functions
· Insights in the product category and an understanding of the drivers and dynamics of the marketplace would be preferred
· Experience in managing creative agencies for outsourced work would also be beneficial.
