S&OP Manager

Arbetsbeskrivning

The Supply Chain Operations at Seco Tools HQ in Fagersta is in on an exciting transformation journey, and we’re right now looking for a Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager to join us in bringing our function into the future. We welcome you to a role where you get to work with global contacts and build an extensive network in an industry that’s constantly evolving – an exciting setting to be part of, to say the least.
Your mission
As S&OP Manager, you have the total inventory ownership of our S&OP process; handling demand planning and inventory planning, as well as making sure that we optimize the balance between service and cost. To drive operational excellence, you contribute in executing strategical and tactical directions, and you influence and negotiate with other parts of the business to support, implement and maintain center led logistics recommendations and decisions. Together with your team, you set the requirements towards the DC-structure in order to meet our customer expectations from a warehousing point of view. You’re also responsible for the forecasting process of finished products, and you aim to increase quality of our S&OP process by enabling cross functional collaborations.
In this position, you lead and inspire a team and make sure we have the right competences for advancement. The preferred job location is Fagersta, as that’s where your team are based. Some travel is a natural part of your job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a degree within a relevant field, such as Business Management or Logistics, and a few years’ experience from leading and managing diverse teams. You’re a skilled Excel and PowerPoint user, and it’s a plus if you also have knowledge of ERP systems. Since we act on a global stage, you need fluent skills in English, while Swedish skills are beneficial.
To be part of our Seco family, we believe that you truly enjoy taking the lead, and you use your inspiring communication skills to leave a positive impact – creating strong relationships with people around you. You’re an analytical thinker who easily comprehends details, and your curiosity and drive allow you to see possibilities and motivate change with an open mind – making you a valuable asset for your coworkers and our business as a whole!
