Sourcing Analyst - Indirect Purchasing

Strategy & Operational Excellence Department is part of Indirect Purchasing (IDP) at Volvo Car Group, and is responsible for the vision and strategy of how to become a highly performing purchasing organisation. This dynamic group is responsible for setting the strategic direction to ensure purchasing excellence by securing clear strategies, operational and quality excellence in all business areas as well as providing project management support for key sourcing's within IDP. The group consists of 10 people with different backgrounds and experiences.

The role as Sourcing Analyst is dynamic and cross-functional with a global perspective and will provide you with a unique insight and learning opportunity to a highly professional purchasing organisation. You will support the work stream leaders such as buyers and section leaders in managing their key sourcing projects. You will be responsible for providing them with secure facts and analytics that will enable them to complete sourcing projects.

Main responsibilities

* Supply market analytics
* Detailed spend category analytics
* Category profiling
* RFQ analytics
* Negotiation strategy preparation
* Cost modeling

Required qualifications

* University degree at B.Sc level
* MS Office skills, especially Excel
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Good presentations skills is an advantage
* Project management skills, milestone and gateways is an advantage
* Basic purchasing and strategic sourcing skills is an advantage
