About the role
You will be a part of the Global Operational Services that contributes to making our customer a highly successful global hygiene and health company by having the safest, most efficient, lowest cost and sustainable product supply base.
Global Operational Services was created with the purpose of driving operational efficiencies across the company. At the same time, this unit provides a digital expertise and drives our digital transformation journey with the focus on operational processes. The Global Fiber Database is key to delivering this goal for fiber management, corporate compliance and sustainability related certification.
The assignment is a consultant position with employment at Adecco with start as soon as possible and stretches initially to June 2023 with a possibility for extension.

Purpose of the role
• Develop a long-term sustainable fiber supplier database for our Global Hygiene operations including Health Care, Personal Care and Tissue operations
• Deliver monthly reports to ensure sustained compliance with our fiber purchasing and certification systems.
• Manage key fiber suppliers to ensure pulp, eco-label and Life Cycle Assessment questionnaires are returned and completed on time, with information where necessary transferred into the Global Fiber Database (GFDB)
• Support our Sustainability and commercial teams with fiber information as requested
• Lead supplier-based projects to develop the GFDB into a web-based tool to be maintained and accessed by our key suppliers
• Work closely with the Sites and Commercial teams to ensure supplier information, as required by the stakeholders is maintained within the GFDB
• Provide fiber supply analysis to the business teams to facilitate Sustainability reporting against Corporate and GS objectives and targets as well as drive effective decision making
• Actively participate in the Global Fiber network teams located with Global Sourcing and Operational sourcing. Undertaking site certification and supplier audits as requested
Main responsibilities
• Work with the responsible global fiber buyers and manufacturing site buyers, run and maintain the multiple FSC & PEFC Cross credit reports on a monthly basis plus the global fiber purchase report, MR purchase and article purchase reports.
• To support the company´s "Way of Working" (EWoW) implementation team when developing the new IT reporting solutions to ensure the correct information is included from the existing reports to the new reports
• Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers to assure the quality and relevance of data held,
• To support FSC, PEFC and EU Eco-label audit teams to determine compliance against Fiber policies and fiber traceability
• Work closely with Global Fiber personnel on all fiber and fiber logistics issues
• Assist in preparation of BRM, SLT and other management meeting presentations
About you
• University degree or equivalent
• Fluent in English, both written and verbally
• Experience from the paper industry as well as basic understanding of Hygiene and Health operations is desirable
• Sourcing and/or Sustainability experience is desirable
• IT Knowledge in the following areas is an advantage; SharePoint, SAP, Power BI and MS Office
• Knowledge of our Virgin pulp and Paper for Recovery grades is an advantage but not essential
• Possibility to travel
