Network Products HW Sourcing is responsible for Sourcing of direct material to all Network products. The main responsibility is to provide and maintain a world class supplier base and ensure that design solutions are taking the Sourcing strategy into account. We optimize the value of the supplier market to improve technology leadership, ensure delivery reliability, and secure cost efficiencies. We make sure our suppliers are appropriately engaged and perform to support the business needs. During the coming years we will continue to put a lot of efforts into contributing to successful development and market introduction of 5G products as well as other key products in the ERS (Ericsson Radio System) offering.
Job Summary:
The Sourcing Business Partner shall actively engage and secure Sourcing contribution in R&D projects and product management activities through early participation as well as take an end to end responsibility, endorsing Sourcing strategies, handle business needs and lead collaboration in the sourcing team to secure results in line with the assignments.
What you will do
Engage, lead and coordinate Sourcing parts and activities in HW product development projects
Recognize cost improvement potential of components and products, initiate and drive activities to supporting those
Secure execution of sourcing strategies in projects, follow-up Sourcing project targets and drive towards fulfillment
Analyze BOM (Bill of Material) content throughout the project to secure that only preferred suppliers and preferred parts are used
Follow up of Sourcing parts of project KPI’s
In collaboration with Strategic Sourcing Managers secure commercial agreement coverage of material and components
Support cost management and value contribution optimization
Collaborate with R&D and Supply to prepare for NPI (New Product Introduction) and volume ramp-up
