About the Job:

The assignment will be placed on a large international engineering company.

As a Sourcing Business Partner, you are responsible for Sourcing of direct material to all Network products and Hardware. The main responsibility is to provide and maintain a world class supplier base and ensure that design solutions are taking the Sourcing strategy into account. The goal is to optimize the value of the supplier market to improve technology leadership, ensure delivery reliability, and secure cost efficiencies. You will be part of making sure that the suppliers are appropriately engaged and perform to support the business needs.

You will actively engage and secure Sourcing contribution in R&D projects and product management activities through early participation as well as take an end to end responsibility, endorsing Sourcing strategies, handle business needs and lead collaboration in the sourcing team to secure results in line with the assignments! Network Products Hardware. During the coming years the company will continue to put a lot of efforts into contributing to successful development and market introduction of 5G products as well as other key products.

Responsibilities & Tasks

* Drive, lead and coordinate Sourcing parts and activities in product development projects
* Secure execution of sourcing strategies in projects
* Analyze BOM (Bill of Material) content throughout the project to secure that only preferred suppliers and preferred parts are used
* In collaboration with Strategic Sourcing Managers secure commercial agreement coverage of material and components
* Follow up of Sourcing parts of project KPI's and drive towards fulfillment
* Support cost management and value contribution optimization
* Collaborate with R&D and Supply to prepare for NPI (New Product Introduction) and volume ramp

Swedish and English is required for the job.
