About the job
Service Business Fulfilment in IKEA is responsible for fulfilment of the Service Business Offer to our customers. Globally over 250 people work in this business with approximately 25 working in the global team and rest in the markets. Fulfilment is focused from two dimensions, sourcing and operations.

Sourcing is responsible for development of sourcing capability, identification and development of service providers, purchasing of the service products in order to secure a relevant service offer, establishment of good and sustainable partnerships and mapping the market to be able to secure the future growth. Operations secures the development, implementation and surveillance of processes that are needed to enable smooth, efficient and customer focused Service Business operations. Service Business Fulfilment works very closely with Retail stakeholders globally and in the market.

About the assignment
Sourcing Developer is the key role in developing our capability to meet the customer needs. Business is growing both in volume as well as product width. Assembly and Installation are two of the Core Mandatory Service Products in IKEA. While it is a business opportunity for growth, this is an area with immense scope to develop our capability to meet the customer needs.

In your role as Sourcing Developer, You:

Connect the customer needs to fulfilment
Develop IKEA Capability in Assembly and Installation Services
Work closely with markets in developing our capability, creating benchmarks, best practices
Create an AS-IS picture of market capability, needs, strengths and opportunities in these core areas
Create pre-conditions to secure fulfilment of services for our customers first time right
Work together with Business areas in fulfilment of these services that complement products and be prepared for the future
Develop market intelligence on sourcing options and technologies feasible
Work very closely within Sourcing team globally for synergy and togetherness

You are very close to the market and work across the value chain with stakeholders, both internal and external! A customer centric approach is definitely an enabler.
