Do you want to lead sourcing activities for a unique and competitive range in a global environment? At IKEA of Sweden we develop and make the IKEA range available to customers all over the world.

As Sourcing Developer you lead the sourcing activities for a range of products. You are securing sourcing activities and total supply chain perspective in the product development process as well as performance for running range.

The assignment
In the Sourcing Developer role you are a member of the product offer development team where you act as a bridge between our Home Furnishing Businesses and the Category organisation. You lead and secure that both production and customer perspectives are considered in all our products.

You will as a Sourcing Developer:
*Work together with business stakeholders in the Business Area and the Categories to find the best business set up at lowest total cost
*Evaluate material and technique choices related to cost, capacity, quality and sustainability, securing total supply chain perspective for our products
*Actively monitor performance of News and Running range and act on deviations
*Communicate purchase needs and priorities to our Categories and plan capacities

Is this your next challenge?
To be a successful Sourcing Developer we would like for you to have a university degree in technology, business administration or corresponding knowledge. You have broad experience of negotiations with suppliers, supply chain in general, basic finance and project management. As a person you are highly motivated, determined, analytical, and have a strong business drive where you thrive upon improvements and making things a little better tomorrow! You have the ability to work on both an operational and a tactical level and you connect with many different stakeholders around the globe.

Since IKEA of Sweden is a truly international environment, you need to be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
