We are looking for a Sourcing Director - DS Resins who will work with and lead our expert Chemicals Category leads associates focused on Chemical products, as well as stakeholders across the globe. This role reports to the Direct Sourcing Leader – Hardware, Chemicals & Services for Biotechnology Group.
What you’ll do:
Develop and lead a large multi-site sourcing organization supporting $1B+ of revenues for Cytiva
Develop and coach category management group for DS Resins products – develop a world-class Biotech chemicals supplier base providing long term sustainable performance to the business both on existing products and New Product Development
Drive strong site level performance on KPIs across DS Resins products – including Cost, Quality, Delivery, Security of Supply, Sustainability and Service
Maintain close alignment with Business Unit leadership, ensuring sourcing is delivering measurable value and is considered as a strategic advantage to the business
Work closely with broader sourcing functions and sourcing leadership to ensure standard work, process and policies are applied within DS Resins scope
Work closely with China and India to ensure strong alignement on Sourcing Strategy for DS Resins products
Facilitate cross-functional workouts and efforts as related to sourcing processes and related cost improvements.
Drive Simplification projects using DBS on sourcing processes and tools.

Who you are:
You have a MS or BS degree or other advanced degree in Business Administration, Economics, Purchasing, Sourcing or Engineering.
You have at least 10 years of progressive experience in Sourcing, at least 5 of those primarily in leadership role
You exhibit excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
You have experience leading a team of world-class associates located in various locations around the globe.
You display strong quantitative and analytical skills and database management skills.
You have developed strong communication skills (verbal, written & presentation) and are skilled in working collaboratively with remote personnel.
You are a self starter who can work independently with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
You have strong project management and process improvement skills.
