To Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions and division Stationary Crushing & Screening we’re looking for someone who truly speaks business - a Strategic Sourcing Engineer to be more specific. About your job
Our Sourcing Department manages and coordinates all sourcing activities, promotes overall purchasing performance and leads transformative change efforts within the organization. In this position, you’re an active driving force in developing and implementing sourcing plans in alignment with our Category Strategies and stakeholders. With your knowledge and experience, you lead and participate in important sourcing projects. By managing and negotiating contracts within the categories Professional Services & Services, you ensure that we have a solid foundation for conducting business, and you support and follow-up the compliance of our agreements. A vital part of your mission is to establish and manage great relations with our key stakeholders and you engage in our Supplier Relationship Management, as well as support the selection and onboarding of our suppliers.
This position is based at our division headquarters in Svedala, Sweden – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station.
Your background and characteristics
For this role we need someone with several years’ experience from working within sourcing, combined with knowledge from some kind of IT- or business system. A university degree in a relevant area is considered beneficial. Since we’re truly global, you need excellent written and verbal skills in both Swedish and English.
With integrity, entrepreneurial spirit and business-driven approach, you make things happen in a timely and proactive manner. You’re confident and convincing in the way you navigate across our organization, and by utilizing your competence in the field, you build successful sourcing strategies. Naturally, you’re also truly structured and have excellent analytical skills. To interact in diverse and fast-paced environments excites you, and you use your service-minded approach and great communication skills to create great collaborations.
