Sourcing Engineer

At Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions and division Stationary Crushing & Screening, we’re now looking for an experienced and tech-oriented Sourcing Engineer. About the job
In this position, you are responsible for your own sourcing category, develop sourcing plans aligned with Category Strategies and identify, prepare, lead as well as participate in global sourcing projects. You create, negotiate, sign, implement and deal with the maintenance of contracts. Furthermore, you also support and measure use of and compliance with said contracts. You lead and participate in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities – with stakeholder management being a vital part of this role, you put effort into establishing and managing relationships with different stakeholders and suppliers.
The location for this position is in Svedala, Sweden, with the opportunity for a hybrid working schedule. Some infrequent travelling to suppliers all over Sweden and Europe will occur.


Your character
We’re looking for someone with an engineering or supply chain degree, accompanied with extensive experience in a similar role to this one and notably in the field of industrial manufacturing. Since we act on a global scale, you’re proficient in English and Swedish, in both written and verbal form.
You’re a true networker with prominent negotiating capabilities – combined with your ability to see the bigger picture and an eye for details makes you the perfect fit for this role! You’re both commercially and tech-oriented and are able to work in project form and in project groups.
