Who is your future team?
Axis Ex AB is the production company for Axis explosion protected products. The products are globally certified for hazardous areas. You will be part of a handful, very competent, colleagues working within the company. The first Axis produced explosion protected product is about to be launched and the team will grow with the development of the products and production of them. This segment is a great investment for Axis and more people work with the products at Axis Communications, you will for example work close R&D.

The team is responsible for producing the products for our customers and the jointly focus on product quality is our top priority. It is the first time Axis produce products inhouse.

This role will be located mainly at Axis HQ close to the resources working in the development projects and the Sourcing departments at Axis Communications.

What you'll do as Sourcing Lead at Axis Ex AB?
We are about to launch the first Axis produced explosion protected product and there are several others on the roadmap for the near future. Axis expect this to grow rapidly and take a big part of the market share. The production is ready for the first camera, and you will start this journey from the beginning with us and make sure we will be able to produce high quality products. You are responsible for sourcing from Axis Ex perspective, which means leading Project Purchasing, Sourcing and Commodity Management.

These are tasks we see included in the role, but it will develop depending on you and the future needs:

* Purchase material to development projects
* Strategic Purchasing
* Evaluate Supplier base for Ex-critical parts
* Supplier development

Who are we looking for?
We believe that you are a person with a strong personal drive who easily co-operates across organizational borders. You are motivated to develop the way of working and affect development of the supplier base to enable production of high quality products. We are a small team and in the beginning of building the organization and processes, therefore you need to be flexible and adapt to different work tasks. You are always open and willing to learn and develop. You need to have strong communication skills, both in Swedish and English.
