What you’ll do


The Sourcing Leader is assigned a portfolio of chemicals suppliers and has the responsibility to develop, communicate and execute sourcing strategies, both short and long term.
We are focused on cost efficient supplies while at the same time having a high priority on security of supply and quality.
In close collaboration with internal stakeholders, i.e. Manufacturing, R&D and Product Management, the Sourcing Leader participates in New Product Introduction projects as well as activities related to quality and fulfilment.
In order to meet all business needs, the applicant will co-operate with the Supplier Quality organization to continuously monitor and develop our suppliers’ capabilities.

Who you are


Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or in chemistry discipline, or a Bachelor’s degree in business administration (or equivalent knowledge/experience).
Strong work experience with technical depth/knowledge in assigned commodities, or strong Commercial Sourcing, Supply Chain or Engineering experience.
Willing to travel domestically and internationally occasionally.
Experience from the Life Science industry is an advantage.
Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
Excellent negotiations skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships.
Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments.
Experience implementing complex supply chains.



This position is based at our site in Uppsala, Sweden. We apply a hybrid work model with the flexibility to partly work from home.
