What you’ll do
We are looking for a Sourcing Leader to join our team, working with suppliers to our Downstream Hardware business. This is a temporary position during a parental leave with start as soon as possible, ending end of March 2022.
The Sourcing Leader is assigned a portfolio of suppliers within the Metals commodity, and has the responsibility for development, communication and execution of sourcing strategies, both short and long term. We are focused on cost-efficient supply while at the same time having a high priority on fulfillment and quality. In close collaboration with internal stakeholders, like Manufacturing, R&D and Product Management, the Sourcing Leader identifies and executes on cost saving opportunities, participates in New Product Introduction projects as well as activities related to quality and fulfilment. Together with Sourcing Delivery Leaders and the Supplier Quality organization, the Sourcing Leader performs continuous monitoring and development of suppliers, all in order to meet business needs.
Who you are
You have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics or similar and a few years of work experience, ideally from Sourcing or Supply Chain. Analytical skills are important, and you have the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships. Preferably you are an experienced negotiator with good Swedish and English skills. You connect well with all levels within an organization and your track record show that you deliver on your commitments. Willingness to travel on occasional basis is required.
