We are looking for a Sourcing Manager, commercially responsible for integrated suppliers and service providers. If you have a genuine interest in business relations and logistics and working in a dynamic environment together with our supplier base and internal and external stakeholders, developing processes and methods to secure a cost effective and value adding procurement, we can offer an interesting position.
Your role
Area of responsibility is to maintain and develop agreements and relationships within the specified area. Commercial responsibility and continuous evaluation of the market's competitiveness in the current supplier portfolio is part of your responsibility. You will have the opportunity to manage your own supplier base which include logistics, warehousing and services. As a Sourcing Manager you will also be responsible for negotiating, actively managing and further developing our supplier agreements. You will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and also with Group Procurement. The role gives you the opportunity to build an extensive network, both internally and externally.
Main tasks:
* Establish and continuously develop strategies for your supplier base
* Accountable for supplier capability and performance to meet Saab business requirements
* Secure agreement and commercial terms and conditions with suppliers reflecting our business requirements
* Purchases and perform negotiations within your supplier base
* Identify and qualify potential suppliers
* Secure and follow up on goals and targets within your supplier base
* Run cross-functional teams with focus on efficiency, proactivity and cost savings
Your profile
Our future colleague is an independent individual with technical knowledge, commercial judgment and a holistic view with the ability to conclude agreements and achieve our goals. You are driven, responsive, have strong communication skills and can work in groups and drive processes forward. To succeed in your role you have documented experience in procurement, negotiations, agreements and business analysis. Relevant university degree is preferred and professional experience in purchasing is a demand. Fluent English is mandatory and mastering an additional language is a plus.

You will be organized within business area Aeronautics. We work in a highly international environment where a majority of our suppliers are foreign. A professional sourcing operation with developed business relations with our suppliers is crucial for the sustainability and profitability of Saab and our products. Our success depends on the ability to build professional and integrated relations with our suppliers. You will be part of the Procurement office comprising more than 100 dedicated co-workers, working with all tasks linked to an effective and value adding procurement operation.
