SOURCING MANAGER

Job Description
We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to our client in Södertälje! The Sourcing Manager is, from a project perspective, responsible for parts within material groups of standard to medium complexity. The Sourcing Manager is the purchasing representative within each object and drives purchasing activities and procurement of parts within respective object with the purpose to reach best total cost, to ensure capacity and to reach other project targets.

Responsibilities:
- Provide input to the supplier base.
- Identify new suppliers connected to new technologies within the product development projects (PD) to ensure improvement of Technology, Quality, Delivery and Cost, focusing on Sustainability (TQDCS).
- Contribute to creation and development of material group strategies.
- Create and execute the forward sourcing plan.
- Sourcing of parts within product development projects, aligned with strategies and decided in the material group management/business plan.
- Challenge suppliers and R&D to create prerequisites for sourcing within concept and product development projects (CD- & PD-projects).
- Source prototypes with possible support.

By agreement.

Admission and Application
Full time position, 40h/week. The position will start as soon as possible, and the assignment is expected to run for 4 months with possibility of extension.
