You take responsibility for the whole sourcing process, from the initial stages to completion, and by doing so, you ensure successful implementation of set strategies. Being responsible for the complete contract process – from negotiation to implementation and maintaining contracts (Contract Lifecycle Management) – is an important part of your job. You act as a single point of contact to your key stakeholders and you establish and ensure stable relationships with the service organization and suppliers.
The location for this position is either Sandviken or Kista (regular trips to Sandviken is necessary to have a good stakeholder dialogue and is expected approximately twice a week).
Your character
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Economy, Business Administration or the equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. You have experience from a category driven organization and IT Sourcing, as well as good understanding of the IT landscape in general. As we act in a truly global environment you need excellent English skills, written and verbally, while knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
Your personality truly makes the difference – with your strategic mindset and natural problem-solving skills you easily find new ways to go. By being open-minded and communicative you have no problem in building strong and trusting relationships at all levels, always keeping the business in mind. You enjoy working independently and at the same time, you truly see the value in collaboration with both colleagues and stakeholders.
At Sandvik, we believe that diversity of experience, perspective and background leads to a better environment for our employees, our business and our customers. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
