About the job

We are hiring a Sourcing Manager Equipment to join our dynamic sourcing team. As a Sourcing Manager Equipment, you will focus on production related equipment for Polarium, both in Sweden and globally. You will also lead and manage various RFx from start to finish, which includes to create, issue, and facilitate the entire process, through supplier evaluations, supplier selection, implementation ordering and delivery. To succeed in this role you need to be detail-oriented, analytical and have a “can do” attitude.
The position is based in Kista, Sweden.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage RFQ process and supplier relation management
- Continuous interaction with key stakeholder related to equipment suppliers, agreements, and related tasks
- Manage daily activities and improvements in sourcing of equipment and other related areas including internal and external interaction
- Manage sourcing documents, agreements, and related documents
- Continuously strive to optimize cost supporting Polarium strategies and business plans
- Liaise with various stakeholders on supplier management related matters
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution and periodic business reviews


Qualification and experience:

- 5 years’ experience of sourcing or procurement production equipment and assets from international manufacturing companies
- Experience from sourcing and supplier relation management in a global supplier base environment
- Experienced in working with Asian and Chinese suppliers
- Technical education and/or experience from manufacturing industry and production equipment is highly valued
