Manager, Group Sourcing

Create moments that matter
You are responsible for the strategic and tactical sourcing of production and property related materials and services in Sweden. As a Sourcing Manager you will work in close cooperation with Production, Quality and Sourcing within your area of responsibility. In addition, you will manage cross-functional category teams to assure the best know-how and synergies.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Development of category strategies and annual plans for area
• Development and implementation of sourcing strategies in line with category plans
• Execution of sourcing initiatives and identification of new cost reduction opportunities
• All aspects of supplier management
• Drive performance using Key Performance Indicators in close cooperation with the business units
• Leading a network of business and purchasing stakeholders                                                                                                                                                                           


You will be a member of the Fazer’s procurement community and you will report to Director Group Sourcing, Indirect materials. The job location will be at one of Fazer Group´s offices in Sweden.  To successfully manage this position, some travelling is required, mainly in Sweden and Finland.

What you’ll bring to the team
We are looking for a sourcing professional with expertise of sourcing in maintenance and facility/property categories, experience of manufacturing industry is an advantage. Strategic thinking, business acumen and analytical approach combined with proactive and goal-focused attitude to work are essentials in this role. Your genuine interest in supporting the business operations of your stakeholders and project management experience helps to achieve results easily. You are a result-driven decision-maker, a loyal co-worker and good team player with strong communication skills. You are used to working in a complex environment, and have an ability to motivate and create commitment in others. Your professionalism is based on a bachelor’s degree or similar and you communicate fluently in Swedish and in English.
