Sourcing Manager HES Product Group

Alfa Laval develops, manufactures and sells special products and world-class technical solutions that help our customers optimize the performance of their processes.Time and time again.Our equipment and systems create solutions for heating, cooling, separation and fluid handling of products such as oil, chemicals, water, beverages, foodstuffs, starch and pharmaceuticals.Alfa Laval has approximately 9,500 employees in more than 50 countries covering over 100 markets.We have just created a new Alfa Laval with a new spirit and a strong focus, that will reinforce our position as a global leader within the areas where we operate.Our solid base is our shared goals and values.We are customer oriented.We dare to do things differently.We are open, informal and flexible.We create reliable and cost-efficient solutions.We are a totally new company, founded in 1883.Heat Exchangers Systems (HES) is one of the product groups within Operations.Our main products are district heating and tapwater modules.The supply is done from our three production sites in Europe.We are now expanding the group with a sourcing manager.The sourcing of components is one of the key factors for success.As sourcing manager you will have the overall responsibility for purchase and supply chain development within the HES- group.The main objective is to create a stable supply chain with high DOT (delivery on time) and right quality to a competitive cost.The job covers both development of existing suppliers and finding new opportunities including negotiations and making commercial agreements.You will also be involved in finding improvements by standardizing the products and to improve the purchase and logistic activities in the factories.You will be HES interface for purchase issues and work in close cooperation with our factories, R&D [and product managers to understand the product and the business demands.You need to have experience from the purchase and logistic area, preferably with a university degree.Much of the work is done in projects and in collaboration with other functions, so you need to be able to lead and participate in projects and to build internal and external relations.
