Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
One of our colleagues is moving on to new challenges and therefore we are currently looking for a committed teammate to join our divers squad.
Job Description
The main objective will be to source investments according to the company’s needs at the best achievable Cost, Quality, Delivery and Sustainability while considering the latest available Technology.
Main task is to lead supplier negotiations, present results in decision boards and conclude commercial agreements to create the best value for Scania. This often executed in close cooperation within Traton and Volkswagen group. You will be part of aligning the company’s need across multiple functions in order to cooperate and drive the tender processes. An active participation in different internal stakeholder organizations is necessary to reach the best results and to make a difference.
This job also gives a great opportunity to get in touch with new technologies and people, building your network, explore new business models while enabling initiatives for improvement opportunities within the team and at Scania.
Your profile
We believe that you are passionate about business and have previous experience from purchasing or from a related business area as well as a university degree. If you have experience from CAPEX or related services that is a merit.
We also appreciate if you:
• Have a true commercial drive
• Feel at ease presenting business cases in management meetings
• Are comfortable studying agreements of different kinds
• Loves to think strategically, evaluate new ways, and follow-through until the result
It would be great if you like to work independently and have great social skills with the ability to develop and maintain a broad network of supplier contacts as well as interfaces within Scania and the Group.

We are ten people in the team with different background, age, and education. To fit in you are probably comfortable raising your voice, question current customs, and pitch your ideas openly but most important you are open-minded.
