We are looking for a Sourcing Manager IT
We offer an exciting opportunity in the fast-changing aviation and travel industry along with a great team.
SAS Strategic Sourcing is a central function in the parent company where the department works in close cooperation with the respective business units. SAS's purchasing organization aims to be the best in its industry and deliver a clear added value to the company. The organization is working within different Category IT areas and Professional Services, The Sourcing Manager IT will work in close collaboration with all the Category Managers and report to Head of Category IT & Distribution & Professional Services.
As a Sourcing Manager you are responsible for driving sourcing projects, i.e. plan, analyze, evaluate, select, negotiate and contract suppliers in line with defined category strategy and in accordance with defined specifications, policies, processes and tools. You will work in close collaboration with SAS Business stakeholder and the decision-making paths up in the organization are short and there is a great opportunity to influence and develop in this role.
The candidates we are looking for are today in a Sourcing position within IT and ready to take the next step to become a Sourcing Manager.

Some of the main areas of responsibility:
Sourcing Manager in the IT area
Drive purchasing projects primarily within IT in close collaboration with Category Managers and stakeholders in SAS organization
Ensure that SAS Purchasing Policy is complied with and that you continue to continuously develop methodologies and processes within the purchasing organization
Run Contract Management for selected IT suppliers
Continuously acquire knowledge of your purchasing category through supplier and market analyzes


Experience and Background
Proven track record of running successful purchasing projects and Contract Management, preferably in the IT area
2-5 years of experience in purchasing work in the IT area
Master of Science or Economics, preferably with a focus on Purchasing or other academic education relevance
Outstanding networking skills to work across teams and departments
High knowledge in negotiation skills, preferably with global suppliers
Documented ability to negotiate agreements in English
Speak and write English and a Scandinavia language fluently

You are structured, analytical, driven by doing business and a thorough person who get things done. You are result oriented, take responsibility and have a will to deliver results. You like to drive negotiations and you communicate easily with stakeholders on all levels. As a person, you have a high degree of independence, integrity, personal drive and very good communication skills. You are a strong team player who collaborates and easily integrates in existing teams.
Other of Importance
This position is located in Stockholm (SAS Head office in Solna/Frösundavik).
