Sourcing Manager to Commercial Operations, Business Unit Sweden
Commercial Operations is a department within Scania Purchasing, created to accelerate the integration of the purchasing activities in Scania Commercial Operations companies worldwide.
Together with the Commercial Operations organisation we are developing new ways of working and can offer a very challenging and entrepreneurial environment. We are now looking for a new sourcing manager to the Business Unit in Sweden.
Job Description
Working as a strategic purchaser you will be responsible for the development and implementation of purchasing activities for our Commercial Operations network in Sweden together with our internal customers. The work includes responsibility for sourcing strategies, supplier selection and negotiations as well as supplier quality, service and cost development.
Our team is an important part of Business Unit Sweden and Global Purchasing. Together we create value for the customers, staff and shareholders by managing procurement deals with respect to a wide range of products and services.
Background
We are looking for a team player, for whom its evident that joint efforts drive change. You are positive, service minded and a driven person with an interest in the retail business and at least three years of commercial experience. You probably have a degree from university or similar.
Since you will lead a change process in your areas by implementing new methods and principles, your leadership skills and ability to create trust among our internal customers are important. This position is a perfect opportunity for you who strive to get the best from two worlds, i.e. working with a entrepreneurial perspective within a top class world renowned company.
You are fluent in both written and oral English. The work requires travelling to some extent.
