Work description
As Sourcing Manager your primary focus is to act as a Business Partner for local procurement requirements in your appointed location or region.

You will be responsible for running the local sourcing activities, under guidance from global Category Teams.

You have a central role, working with local leaders and stakeholders, to ensure efficient execution of their procurement needs; taking cost, customer benefits and sustainability factors into account. Identifying potential improvements for the procurement process as well as developing and renegotiating existing contracts are both considerable parts of this role.

You will cooperate closely with global category managers and provide vital input for long term category strategies, as well as ensuring that Tactical Procurement targets on local levels are aligned with existing Category Strategies.

Furthermore, you will regularly work with Project Managers and our Procurement Excellence Teams to ensure a professional and efficient execution of local procurement needs.

Finally, the Sourcing Manager functions as a key link between the global procurement organization and local stakeholders.

Who are you?
In order to succeed and thrive as Sourcing Manager at NKT you put your communicative skills to use. As a natural networker you will effortlessly establishing business focused and commercial dialogue, both internally and externally.

You have the ability to work independently and set your own prioritization. Through your analytical mindset you can establish a solid foundation for data driven decision making.

You are experienced in strategic procurement processes, e.g. RFX, e-sourcing, negotiation and contract signing.

You probably hold a master´s degree in business, engineering, economics or similar. If not - you have at least 5 years relevant working experience from a similar role.

Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is a requirement.
