You will
At Ideon in Lund we develop and manufacture reactors for new semiconductor materials. We have a solid experience and knowledge of building CVD reactors and in recent years the design has been refined into a completely new platform with a patented function that is unique in the global market. Our silicon carbide and gallium nitride semiconductor material systems are used for components in base stations for the 5G network, electric cars, solar cells, photovoltaic systems and many other areas in the electricity sector.

As our Sourcing manager, you will play a critical role in business improvement, cost savings, and overall process efficiency and productivity. The role also involves being responsible for the entire work process of planning, coordination, implementation and following up on purchases.

Furthermore, you will:

- Drive the process of identification and selection of new suppliers in close cooperation with internal stakeholders
- Lead preparation, execution & finalization of negotiations with suppliers
- Monitor and drive supplier performance
- Improve supply chain performance and implementing processes to reach cost and delivery performance objectives
- Actively engage in our implementation of our new business system Monitor

You are
To succeed in this position, it is essential that you have a relevant university degree with several years of work experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, with an advantage in the manufacturing industry that includes international contacts. We place great value on your experience in commercial negotiation and contracting, as well your business-minded and ambitious way of working being analytical, result-driven and a self-motivated decision-maker. Your genuine interest for technology will also be highly appreciated.

In addition to the work experience, we are looking for a person who wants to become part of our team and work towards our common goals. You genuinely enjoy working both strategically, tactically and operationally, as this role includes a piece of it all. You are also fluent in English, written and spoken.
