We are now strengthening the bus commodity team with 3 additional sourcing managers in order run a Product Cost Optimization Program (PCOP). Take the opportunity to make a change and be part of this journey.

Your responsibilities

As a PCOP Sourcing Manager, you will be working closely together with our suppliers, R&D and many other internal functions to reach common goals in this Product Cost Optimization Program. The purchase responsibility within the includes sheet metal, polymers and electronics. In your daily work you will


• work proactively and challenge suppliers and R&D to create the best possible prerequisites for sourcing.
• work in close collaboration with commodity purchasing and supplier quality to create and contribute to the segment and supplier strategy.
• negotiate, propose and nominate new business to suppliers on Scania decision forums.
• work closely with the suppliers throughout the industrialization and secure the right cost level for design changes after nomination.
• Be part of the implementation team and participate in planning on purchasing tasks
• Run defined PCR’s according to time plan with assignment leader and suppliers
• Execute purchasing tasks within team such as send out RFI, RFQs, analyse quotes and negotiate with suppliers, placing prototype and serial orders.
• Escalate with assignment lead when measures taken and still PCR targets not met (time, cost)
• Participate in the PCOP implementation buyer team led by the team leader
• Report to commodity manager or similar

• are capable of expressing yourself fluently in both spoken and written English. It is desirable that you are able to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, or willing to learn.

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience from an industrial company. You have a technical- and commercial interest and an academic degree in engineering, business, or similar.
