Sourcing is working within Alfa Laval Parts distributions centers and has the responsibility for sourcing activities and developing suppliers within our spare part business. For our team in Stockholm, we are looking for a Sourcing Specialist with experience in supply chain management to be part of the Sourcing Organization. You will be working in a global environment with many points of contact but be based in Tumba, Stockholm.

About the job

You will be working with securing and optimizing the supply chain of parts and components to our Distribution Center in Tumba, one of the largest buying units in Alfa Laval. You will be responsible for the suppliers within your category mainly related to casting based parts, packaging material and fasteners where you will assure the supplier performance and develop the supply chain according to our sourcing strategies.

You will be located in a friendly and supportive environment with a team of five specialists and two project managers on site as well as other internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibility includes:
* Contract management
* Negotiations
* Project management
* Cost reductions etc

What you know

You are an active player in the team and have the will to make a difference when it comes to driving performance, improvements and initiating other activities with our suppliers.

As a person, you are pro-active, accountable and good at building and maintaining relationships. You want to contribute positively to your team and towards a pleasant culture.

Also, you:
* Have experience in supply chain management/procurement
* Are courageous, dare to try your ideas
* Are a natural problem solver
* Are structured and curious
* Technical skills/education is an advantage
* Have good knowledge in Excel

There will be approximately 15-30 travel days per year in this role with in-office/home office flexibility.
