Sourcing is working within Alfa Laval Parts distributions centers and has the responsibility for sourcing activities and developing suppliers within our spare part business. For our team in Stockholm, we are looking for a Sourcing Specialist with experience in supply chain management to be part of the Sourcing Organization. You will be working in a global environment with many points of contact but be based in Tumba, Stockholm.
About the job
You will be working with securing and optimizing the supply chain of parts and components to our Distribution Center in Tumba, one of the largest buying units in Alfa Laval. You will be responsible for the suppliers within your category mainly related to machined parts, pumps and valves where you will assure the supplier performance and develop the supply chain in alignment with our global sourcing strategies, as well as your own.
You will be located in a friendly and supportive environment with a team of six specialists and one project manager on site as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibility includes:
* Contract management
* Negotiations
* Project management
* Cost and emission reduction
What you know

Also, you:
* Have experience in supply chain management/procurement

* Are structured and curious
* Technical or business degree
* Have good knowledge in Excel
* Have good swedish and english language skills
There will be approximately 15-30 travel days per year in this role with home office flexibility.
