Job Description
The indirect procurement team is responsible for the procure to pay process within IKEA Marketing & Communication. We deliver to appointed sourcing processes, supplier relations, being a partner towards business and enabling functions. Our team is now looking for a Sourcing Specialist.
As a Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for securing high quality media products at low cost with minimal sustainability impact, using compliant business processes and large-scale sourcing from authorized suppliers in Indirect materials and services.
You will be the single point of contact for IKEA Marketing & Communication needs from a procurement perspective. The Sourcing Specialist is to be also responsible for business documentation/process compliance including processing and reviewing agreements and support in handling call offs. You also define and implement new procurement processes within the company in close alignment with our matrix partners.
Examples of responsibilities in this role could be:
Secure high quality media products at low cost with minimal sustainability impact, using compliant business processes and large-scale sourcing from authorized suppliers.
Support and lead the RFI (Request for Information) and RFQ (Request for quotation)
Support and lead the Supplier Classifications and Supplier Development process.
Responsible for securing detailed overview of competences and needs within IKEA Marketing & Communication
Responsible for maintaining and updating relevant tools to support the sourcing process: e.g., Business System and Sourcing System.
Being the main contact person towards Inter IKEA Group procurement, including securing framework agreements and being the one ordering from IKEA Marketing & Communication to Inter IKEA Group procurement.
Qualifications
The person we´re looking for is someone that has a strong business drive and a result-oriented mind. With strong self-leadership you enjoy supporting business leaders as well as your team members. You like to engage in a challenge leading or contributing to business value and good solutions, always with both business and people in mind.
You´ll need:
Deep knowledge in purchase procedures in procurement of indirect materials and resource or equivalent.
A degree in Purchasing/business administration
Knowledge of industry and market specific conditions and macroeconomics trends
Strong negotiations skills
Legal knowledge (understanding of purchase agreement package)
Good knowledge of communications.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
