Sourcing Specialist to global company in Gothenburg!

About the postion:

The team is responsible for sourcing of direct material to our production and after market demand, as well as prototypes to project. One of the main challenges and responsibility is to keep timeline in our projects and a more and more flexible prioritization, sometimes makes it hard to plan. Operationally, they have a very big focus on inventory levels as well as on time delivery, both from suppliers and to customers. You will be joining a positive and well-functioning team, where everybody pitches in and supports each other, when needed. We currently work remotely and will keep monitoring development of pandemic and take FHM advice in to account. You’ll join a solution oriented Sourcing team and have a lot of internal contacts and stakeholders. You’ll have a lot of internal visibility and be able to have an impact on the delivery of the projects. You work business hours from 8-4:30pm.

Responsibilites and tasks:

Supporting Sourcing in the project to replace Jeeves with Oracle
Supplier data clean up
Supporting in development of sourcing strategies
Setting up new processes in the new ERP
KPI reports
Forecasting
Stock optimization.
Development of the operational purchasing tools and processes.
Support operational sourcing, when possible from a project perspective.

ERP management and optimization, mainly:

Check and control combination of data by using a report tool from ERP.
Change and clean up incorrectly set items, given by the reporting tool from ERP.
Investigate purchased items that are missing data (eg. price, country of origin etc). Change item setup when needed and ensure that requested data is filled out.
On request from Aftermarket department, assure needed information and data exist for the item in ERP and set requested item to Sellable.
Act as resource for the entire Sourcing team and be prepared to support all other roles in the team when necessary.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role you are outgoing and self-motivated with an interest in planning processes. You are structured, motivated and result driven and need to be able to take decisions, even if not all pieces of the puzzle are available. You also have:

Academic background in purchasing, engineering, economics or equivalent experience from the purchasing field.
Experience from operational planning.
Experience of working in ERP systems with order planning (minimum 2 years)
Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish.
Microsoft Office programs, mainly Excel and PowerPoint. If you have experience in Jeeves and Oracle we see this as a merit.
