As the Sourcing Sustainability Program Leader, you will be responsible for being the functional owner of the sustainability process and systems for the Sourcing organization. Work cross functionally with the Sustainability, Commercial, Legal, and Information Technology groups to ensure the processes and platforms are performing at the highest standard needed to ensure efficiency throughout the organization. What you’ll do
Maintain relationships with the 3rd party audit/data providers … Ecovadis and alternate companies
Own sourcing single source of truth for key sourcing sustainability metrics – Green Spend, Ecovadis scoring, etc.
Build, distribute & drive actions on regular reporting on sustainability – onboarding, performance, gaps.
Collaborate with Sourcing Leaders to address specific vendors performance, identify standard methodologies on top performers, entertain positive dialog with supplier base on Cytiva sustainability efforts.
Collaborate with Cytiva sustainability team to build & implement a clear roadmap on sustainability actions – Lifecycle Assessment, data collection
Collaborate internally with the Sourcing Operations team to enable digital management of data and linkage of information with external providers
Collaborate with the Sourcing leadership & legal to include specific objectives & targets in sourcing documentation, such as contracts.
Provide and ensure any coaching/training needs for the Sourcing organization and others as needed for all sustainability matters
Identify, list, and help implement standard methodologies to improve the supply base’s sustainability programs.
Drive continuous improvement opportunities for digitization, process simplification, process standardization and cycle reduction to improve business benefit.
This is an individual contributor role which will report into the Sourcing Operations organization with a strong dotted line to the Direct and Indirect Sourcing Leaders
Who you are
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Sourcing/Procurement initiative or Sourcing program management.
Strong experience in building and developing supplier/customer relationships
Experience in Sustainability preferred
Ability to handle multiple priorities in parallel, both short and long term
High standard of communication in english, both verbal and written
Able to work in a matrix environment with multiple collaborators and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Independent problem solver; proven ability to lead across functions; data / fact driven decision maker; change agent; customer focus
Ability to plan and manage a range of priorities, and deliver projects to deadline, within an agreed/defined standard
Foundation knowledge of operations environments.
Ability to identify new and creative solutions to business challenges
Ability and willingness to occasionally travel domestically and internationally (<20%)
