Assignment Description:
We are seeking a skilled Spare Part Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in the role. The company's parts information strategy is to only offer a limited number of needed parts to workshops. The purpose of the parts information is to offer the right parts at the right time to the mechanics.
The main objective of this role is to identify and create a spare parts structure in S-BOM, including chemicals and service parts kitting. The Spare Part Engineer will work with a team to analyze and requirements such as 3D data, 2D drawings, and correct part names, and will participate in product development dialogue to discuss technical solutions and part structures. The Spare Part Engineer will also be responsible for managing the change management process, including the review and analysis of change orders and requests, and will identify and define appropriate spare parts and create S-BOM content including unique aftersales parts such as modified parts, exchange parts, kits, and chemicals by using the company's parts information strategy as a framework.
What you'll do:
· E-BOM analysis and requirements such as 3D data, 2D drawings, and correct part names
· Product development dialogue to discuss technical solutions and part structures
· Change management process including review and analysis of change orders and requests
· Identification and definition of appropriate spare parts and creation of S-BOM content including unique aftersales parts such as modified parts, exchange parts, kits, and chemicals
· Deliver S-BOM information to purchasing, logistics and other relevant departments
· Document all parts information in Teamcenter (S-bom)
· Maintenance work
Who you are:
· Minimum of 3 years working experience as Spare Part Engineer
· English proficiency, both written and spoken
· Automotive technical knowledge
· Knowledge of Teamcenter and excel
· Good communication skills
· The ability to work 2-3 days a week in the office and rest of the time remotely
· Note: The Spare Part Engineer will be responsible for working on a project that aims to identify and create a spare parts structure in S-BOM, including chemicals and service parts kitting.
