Spare Parts Engineer

Arbetsbeskrivning

This isn't a conventional car company. We´re a new global brand that focuses on the need of the connected generation, sustainability, and a hassle-free customer experience.

Spare parts engineer
A car is a complex product. To be able to hold our newly introduced Lynk & Co 01’s on the road, with as much uptime as possible, we really need to have control of all the spare parts needed. As a Spare Part Engineer, your focus will be on spare part set-up and structure for the Lynk & Co 01-car as well as upcoming models. We want to do things differently and want your fresh ideas on creating the smartest, most efficient spare part structure in the industry-especially since our business model means we don’t earn money on parts. You will create documentation regarding spare parts, handle changes, and decide how to handle the parts in stock. The team works with both parts and service methods and you will have ability to join the development in both areas.

You will be located in Gothenburg, Lindholmen.

What you´ll do

- Settle spare part breakdown strategies that challenge the traditional way of doing things and support the Lynk & Co business model
- Create spare parts and documentation in close connection with service methods
- Take active part in developing the function and process of spare part handling
- Update and maintain existing spare part structure
- Focus on product changes in close collaboration with R&D departments
- Be the system expert for spare part documentation
- Challenge existing automotive standards with new ideas and proposals for process and system solutions

What you should have

- Strategic and creative mindset with new ideas on how to work in the spare part area
- 3 years of experience within spare part handling and deep vehicle knowledge
- Knowledge in PTC Windchill system for authoring and handling information is preferable
- Good collaboration skills working close with development team and the markets
- Experience in creating spare parts in Catia/One Teamcenter or equal tool
- Positive and flexible mindset to be able to handle fast changing decisions.

What we offer

Sure, we have all the basics in place like pension and insurances, wellness allowance, and flexibility in where and when you work. But that’s not the reason you choose us… You want to work with us because you will:

- Be part of a global and diverse team, with teammates from over 26 countries and a 50/50 gender split
- Be part of a fun work culture with high team spirit. People really enjoy their teams and get along well with their teammates. There’s a running club if you’re into that sort of thing, Mario Cart tournaments, lunch dance sessions, after work get togethers, etc.
- Be part of creating something new that has never been done before. The pace is fast and it is never boring!
- Get the best of both worlds: a start-up atmosphere with the support of an established organization
- Make a difference. We’re a lean team with a flat hierarchy, so every contribution has a direct impact

Working for Lynk & co

We're not into strict hierarchy, but we do like collaboration, creativity, and people who challenge norms. We've cultivated a culture of personal development and role growth. If you're an original thinker who values being open, personal, and challenging, then you´ll fit right in. In general, we think that imagination is just as important as expertise, and instinct can be as valuable as experience.

Sounds good? Well, then we want to hear from you.
