Spare Parts Logistics Manager
As Spare Parts Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing a world class supply chain for the distribution and management of spare parts, accessories and merchandize for our cars and customers in a global distribution network. This includes developing and implementing global logistic strategies, processes, policies and routines, as well as implementing the network (transport and storage) and monitoring logistic KPI’s in order to drive improvements to assure competitiveness. This position reports to the Director Logistic Operations, Lynk & Co.
The position is based in Gothenburg with a European responsibility; therefore, some travel will be required.
What you'll do
- Develop strategic direction for Parts & Accessories Logistics operations
- Set requirements for sourcing of logistic service providers
- Define interface and integration to strategic suppliers’ systems and processes
- Develop and manage key processes for material pick-up, packaging, kitting and delivery to end point
- Develop and manage supporting systems; e.g. IT systems for stock/transport
- Interface with production, quality and other parties for material availability/prioritization
- Define logistic requirements in new products and services projects
What you should have
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics or MBA within Logistics
- At least 7 years of experience within logistics and/or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry
- Experience from geographically diverse cross functional collaboration
- Creative mind-set and passion to develop new business areas
- Proven ability of positive influence on logistics operations and planning
- Proven ability in project management with ability to handle several projects concurrently
- Driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
