Spare Parts Specialist

Are you ready for the next step in your career? We are looking for a Spare Parts Specialist to join our Global Spares Center-team in the Services’ Spare Parts TU.
Are you a solution- and customer service-oriented person with ability to translate technical language to easily understandable form? We are looking for a Spare Parts Specialist, Global Spares Center to strengthen our tissue machinery technology knowledge in our Technology Support team. The Global Spares Center supports Valmet's spare part sales and operations globally. This position is located in Karlstad, Sweden.
As a Spare Parts Specialist you support our global sales in technical issues related to tissue machinery spare parts. Work includes determining and updating item codes for requested spare parts in cooperation with stakeholders. Solving spare part related problems and quality cases as well as finding new solutions to serve our customers better. You participate occasionally to customer meetings when our sales team needs technical support.
To succeed in this role
You need to be a customer-oriented and service-minded person with a positive “can-do” attitude, preferably technically experienced. You are a team player and good in building up your own contact network. Willingness to learn new things and ability to take responsibility are essential in this role.
In addition you should have
Technician, B.Sc or M.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Capability to read technical drawings
Previous work experience from service business or engineering is an advantage
Good written and oral communication skills in English and Swedish
General understanding in Mechanics, Hydraulics and Electronics
General IT skills to search databases and handle drawings and bill of materials
Capability to travel occasionally
