The British International school, Uppsala (BISU) has opened in August 2021 for grades K through Grade 10 and will add grades 11 and 12 in the subsequent years. The school’s ultimate capacity will be 1500 students.

About the Role
We are looking for Special Needs Teacher to join our school . Applicant should be professional, compassionate and dedicated teacher who can give our students the freedom to think and empower them to be independent learners!
As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for day-to-day management of the classroom and provision of instruction, including development and implementation of the Individual Education Plan (IEP).
We believe that outstanding teachers are the cornerstone of an outstanding school. By building on our teachers’ pedagogical practice through ongoing professional development we best serve the educational needs of our students and honor the concept of lifelong learning.
About You
Applicants will be fully qualified Counsellors with exceptional subject knowledge and experience.
Successful applicants will have:
· Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of two years teaching experience in an international school.
Proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom.
Experience working in an SEN school or with children with special needs would be an advantage.
