With deep roots in music, art, architecture and what is contemporary, Axel Arigato has defined itself by offering more than a product. It has been created to leave an experience at the front of mind, whether it’s via stores, online or through events.
Axel Arigato currently has 7 stores, including London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg & Paris with more pending. Expanding from 2 people to now hiring over 100 members of staff in 7 years, Axel Arigato also operates a subsidiary office in London.

We're offering an exciting full-time position as Special Project & Events Coordinator (SPE) responsible for the Scandinavian market. The SPE will preferably be based in either Gothenburg, Stockholm, or Copenhagen, and will be responsible for the proactive planning, curation, organization, and management of all events within the Scandinavian market. In addition, the Special Project and Events Coordinator will be responsible for the internal (Axel Arigato HQ) events and planning, along with supporting all other specialized localized marketing initiatives, such as sourcing brand collaborations and partnerships, and producing disruptive marketing activations. This should be done by events within our retail, through partners such as wholesale, record labels, artists, nightclubs, restaurants, etc. This role will report directly to the company's Global Events & Special Projects Manager.
The main objective of this role is to own the local agenda for Events and Special Projects in the market – driving brand awareness and fostering a brand community.
Responsibilities
Events
• Strategize and submit the local event strategy
• Oversee and drive an inclusive conversation around the brand through online and offline events
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of current and future trends, ensuring events remain appealing and competitive
• Ensure all events are organized and planned in time for deadlines and communicated appropriately.
• Work towards monthly budgets for all events, outlining all expenditures were incurred, including detailed budgets for large scale events
• Arrange off-the-record parties and events with partners and at key markets to raise and/or increase brand awareness.
• A strong focus on delivering high quality, highly organized, cost-effective & brand propelling events in our stores
• Effective hands-on management and communication with regional Retail teams to support their local needs and key KPIs
• Work together with the Retail Manager to plan what is necessary for each region/store so that the targets are being met due to increased footfall
• Maintain a strong organizational presence across these events
• Responsible for internal (HQ) event planning
Special Projects
• Plan and execute the box projects for new product launches such as billboards, guerrilla marketing, takeovers, taxis, buses, supermarkets,
• Update the offering of external products/brands on the website and in-stores. Combine selling with events and potential collaborations.
• Continuously explore brand and talent collaboration opportunities
• Secure various event sponsorships
Community/other
• Build a local brand network through proactive outreach to creative makers and industry players
• Attend local events to ensure smooth running, and being the on-hand contact for the brand
• Build, create and maintain a robust database of key brand contacts
Requirements
• 1-3 years’ experience within a similar role is advantageous
• A Bachelor's degree in PR/fashion/marketing/media or related area would be beneficial
• Flexible to work across a seven-day working period
• Strong proficiency in organization, problem-solving, and communication.
• Proficient use of Microsoft programs
• Highly organized and able to multi-task several projects at any one time
• Strong interest and knowledge of fashion, media, art, and music
• Creative with a can-do attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to use initiative
• Able to effectively communicate with different team members across the business
• Self-motivated and willing to learn
• Ability to work and maximize relationships within a diverse team
• Ability to work under pressure and towards deadlines and financial targets.
• Willing to travel to locations when required
• Is an ambassador for the brand
• Good communication skills in English
• Speaking multiple languages is beneficial (German, Danish, Dutch, French, Swedish)
