Region NCE > SBU NCE > NCE Blades Engineering
Blade Engineering NCE is a department focused on technical support for sales and service in North and Central Europe (NCE). We look after more than 60,000 blades in the region. The department supports all three pillars of Vestas service: Onshore, Offshore and Multi-brand (3rd party turbines).

Responsibilities
Management of complex technical cases (CIM cases, serious incidents, on-site support)
Delivery of the new repair methods
Severity assessment of blade damage and mitigation actions to ensure safe and efficient operation of Vestas serviced blades.
Technical support to service sales and service contract managers
Defend technical statements to the customer and in the court

On-site blade damage assessment and internal and external reporting

Qualifications
Extensive technical understanding of Vestas blade technology (PPT and SST) and repair methods for resin-based products
Previous experience with the blade repairs, root cause analysis on blade failures and damages
Advanced knowledge of CIM cases and processes
Good stakeholder management skills and understanding of the department responsibilities
Good understanding of account management and technical sales


Competencies
Enhanced knowledge to laminate repairs (Epoxy)
Ability to identify and convey complex problems in a pragmatic and accessible manner
Good overview and planning skills
Cause analysis experience (RCA, DMAIC)
