Specialist Formaldehyde

We are a world leader in formaldehyde technology and delivers complete factories, catalysts and technical support under the brand FORMOX? for customers worldwide. We are an enthusiastic, close-knit unit consisting of about 110 people and is located in Perstorp, Sweden. The company has strong profitability and a very interesting development in the future.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist to join our R&D group in Perstorp. The position involves developing new catalysts and technology applications for the Formaldehyde business as well as providing technical support to both the manufacturing team in Perstorp and our licensees across the globe.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of partial oxidation catalysts from idea to full-scale
- Manage R&D projects and supervise personnel within the group
- Collaborate and share knowledge within the business team and into the wider JM organisation
- Assist the Technical support group and develop new TS services
- Assist the Manufacturing organisation

Are you the ideal candidate?
- A strong academic background with a PhD in a scientific discipline
- 3-5 years? experience in catalyst development and/or reaction engineering
- Proven skills in reaction technology and modelling
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; fluency in English is a must ? fluency and/or willingness to learn Swedish is also required.
- Self-motivated personality with a problem-solving attitude
- Team-player who can also work independently
