SPECIALIST NURSES WITHIN RADIOLOGY TO DALARNA, SWEDEN

We are looking for licensed nurses within radiology to join us at Region Dalarna, in central Sweden

In the winter there are many possibilities to activate yourself outdoors through activities such as cross-country skiing, down hill-skiing and skating. Region Dalarna is a public organization that is responsible for the public health care in the county, among other things. Region Dalarna is the biggest employer in the county with 8 500 employees and we have 6 hospitals located in Avesta, Borlänge, Falun, Ludvika, Mora and Säter.

We offer a meaningful and stimulating job where you will be able to work independently. This position is at a smaller clinic where we work daytime, Monday to Friday. We have a good team at the clinic and short decision paths. The clinic has well-established routines and we work closely with our colleagues within both pathology and surgery. Between the years 2022-2023 we will install new mammography equipment throughout Dalarna.


The mammography department at the László Tabár clinic in Falun is a small, high-quality clinic located on the top floor of the hospital with wonderful panoramic views of Falun. We try to ensure the best care for women with a multimodal approach to patient care and a large multi-disciplinary team of radiologists, pathologist, surgeons and nurses. Our goal is to minimize mortality from breast cancer. We treat patients from all of Dalarna and every year we do 34.000 screenings and 12.000 clinical examinations.

Job requirements
Registered nurse within EU/EEA
Specialist nurse within radiology
EU/EES citizenship
Quality-focused with an interest in teamwork and mentoring
Good communication skills

Nice to have
Work experience within mammography
High level of English, both spoken and in written
Previous work with postgraduate education, both mentoring and board work
