Finance > BPM Sales & Construction NCE > BPM Project Controlling
The Business Performance Management (BPM) Sales and Construction department is in charge of ensuring the correct financial sales and construction forecast when it comes to volumes, profitability and cash flow, as well as bringing about transparency and improvements of Performance all across the construction department.
The Project Controller is responsible for providing advanced and comprehensive financial analysis and reporting for the assigned projects to the construction organisation and management.
This role is actively engaged with project managers and other main stakeholders to ensure good financial understanding of the actuals and forecasted plans whilst providing effective support to ensure transparent and accurate deliverables.
Responsibilities
Actively engage with the construction department as their main business partner to ensure a good project specific knowledge and execution risk assessment for operations with focus on the financials
Make recommendations on improvements with regards to financial and operational aspects
Project controlling, financial planning and financial reporting
Prepare and participate in regular project management/steering meetings
Provide regular transparency on the potential cost scenarios to the available options for execution
Analyse pre-post calculations to conclude on root causes and lessons learned to the original Budget
Provide budget support during the annual exercise and monthly follow up on deviations and KPIs
Key interface with financial controlling to ensure accurate and timely financial data and reporting (P&L, balance & cash flow) for Projects to comply with Month-end activities, EuroSOX compliance and audit requirements
Qualifications
Ideally you will hold a finance degree and have knowledge of finance, audit and accounting
You will have experience in controller or business partnering roles in international companies, construction industry would be ideal
You will be experienced in managing a range of stakeholders and understanding the impact of the business operations from a financial perspective
Experienced in SAP or competent is similar ERP systems
Advanced Excel skills
Fluency in English is absolutely essential
