Group Compliance is a head-office function responsible for managing the Volvo Group Anti-Corruption, Competition Law, Sanction & Export Control and Data Protection Compliance Programs, including the management of the Volvo Group’s Whistleblowing Channels. We are working in close cooperation with the legal function of the Volvo Group and all Divisions and Business Areas.
As Specialist Sanctions Screening, you will be responsible for further developing and managing a group common process for sanctions screening of the Volvo Group’s business partners. The role includes:
Design and continuous improvement of the Volvo Group sanctions screening processes
Review and assessment of sanctions hits
Drive process automation and documentation of findings and risk mitigation activities relating to sanctions together with the business
In your role, you will work closely with the Head of Export Control and Sanctions Compliance but also with our Digital & IT organization and representatives from other internal Volvo Group stakeholders. This will give you an opportunity for a cross-functional and cross-business work, and an opportunity to be able to develop and improve in the exciting area of sanctions. Besides working in a great team with challenging tasks, you will be able to help safeguarding the company.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience from a compliance role, preferably related to sanctions screening procedures
Process mindset with an affinity for tools, systems and IT solutions
Good communication skills with multiple stakeholders
Team-player with attention to detail
Risk manager mindset
