Pulp Competence Centre is an expert unit of Stora Enso that supports the chemical pulp mills with services including R&D, operational improvement and technical support. Our vision is to have leading edge competence in adding value to our fibre supply chain and pulp making. The R&D team works both in short-term process and product improvement area and in future product and process creation. Today Pulp Competence Centre has 23 full-time employees.
Qualifications
We are searching for a Specialist to Pulp Competence Centre R&D Team. Your main task will be to lead and support development work with Stora Enso pulp mills, mainly in the fibreline area.
Requirements for the position:
. You have a University level education in pulping, chemical engineering, chemistry, process control or similar.
. You have minimum 5 years of work experience from a pulp mill or machinery supplier in the field of chemical pulping. Previous work experience with eucalyptus as raw material is seen as a benefit.
. You have created good knowledge and experience from process optimizing, trouble shooting and process control work.
. One of your strengths is the capability to implement new R&D findings at the mills.
. You are result-oriented, analytic and willing to take initiatives. You have systematic approach in your project work.
. You like to work in teams and enjoy working in multicultural environment.
. You are able and willing to participate to development work performed with our pulp mills in Latin America. Travelling, as part of your work, is not a problem for you.
. You are fluent in English. Swedish, Finnish, Portuguese or Spanish is seen as an advantage.
