Brief description of the company:
Internationella Engelska Skolan in Umeå has just opened in a newly renovated and furnished building at Bölevägen 44, Umeå. We are a part of the organisation, Internationella Engelska Skolan i Sverige AB (IES). Half of the tuition in the school is in English and the remainder in Swedish (for the position of Maths teacher årskurs 4-6 the teaching will mainly be in Swedish). We are a school with fundamental values; The central pillars of what we offer our students are:

We require a certified teacher for the following position:

Yr 4-9 Speciallärare med inriktning läs-och skriv (Special Ed Teacher), the position includes mentorship for students.

We are looking for:
- A Swedish speaking Special Ed Teacher specialising in students with reading- and writing difficulties.
- Certified, professional teachers that will teach mainly in Swedish. Enthusiastic, dynamic, committed, loyal and positive team-players that are willing to go the extra mile for students and colleagues.

Tasks:
You will be a part of the school?s Student Support Team and work with students with reading and writing difficulties and dyslexia. You will give support to teachers regarding students with reading -and writing difficulties and dyslexia, you will do mappings of students in need of support and write remedial programmes. You will also do follow-ups and evaluations of remedial programmes. You will also conduct screenings of students in order to detect reading and writing difficulties. We are particularly interested of hearing from you if you are interested in working with strengthening literacy in the student population and have experience supporting newly arrived students.
