Sports Buyer/Purchaser - Boozt.com

Boozt.com´s Buying & Merchandising department is currently looking for a Sports Buyer for their team. In addition to buying, you will be driving and analysing the business, building relationships with vendors, and negotiating prices, terms and conditions. This opportunity gives you a chance to shape our Sports category, and to bring your passion for growth and a fabulous business acumen into everyday work life. Location is Malmö and for the right person we offer a relocation package. You will report to Buying Director.

What you will do

- Manage and build relationships with existing and new partners
- Plan and execute strategic meetings with our partners to take our Sports department to the next level
- Plan budget and strategy for the category
- Create optimal product ranges and work on diversifying product assortments within our Sports category
- Select products and identify potential business opportunities (brands and products)
- Buy products based on analytical data provided by merchandisers and your industry knowledge
- Work alongside a merchandiser to ensure optimal and strong purchases are made
- Collaborate with other departments, marketing in particular, to improve sales performance and elevate the Sports category to Boozt consumer
- Travel days is expected during buying season


Your profile

- Great network with the market leader brands and minimum 3 years of buying experience within the sport retail industry with proven results.
- Ability to maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and scout for new brands
- Results oriented with good problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
- Responsible with ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Superb organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Excellent time management skills and great at meeting tight deadlines
- Proficient in Excel and experience of working in business intelligence systems is preferred.
- Fluent in English since this is our corporate language (only applications in English will be considered)
