Main responsibilities

• Compiling odds on North American ice hockey, mainly NHL but also AHL, NCAA and Canadian leagues using mathematical models as well as relevant sports and market knowledge
• Creating and compiling odds for unique offers and player props that set our operator’s offers apart from the rest of the US sports betting market.
• Analysing and monitoring general risk on different ice hockey markets
• Real-time trading and bet analysis
• Communicate effectively with the different departments within Kambi and its clients
• Delivering the best user experience for customers

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Ice hockey NHL
• Strong knowledge of some of the following leagues: AHL, NCAA , Canadian leagues (OHL, WML, QMHL)
• Strong numerical ability regarding probabilities and distributions
• Ability to work accurately with great attention to detail
• Must be fluent in English, written and spoken
• High Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Willingness to work on evenings and in weekends/bank holidays

Desirable

• Experience from the betting industry, preferably within ice hockey
• A university degree, preferably in an analytical field such as mathematics or statistics
• Experience in statistical modelling
